The Danish Research Foundation has long been committed to supporting medical research, and in recent years, we have expanded our support to include exceptional cultural and social activities. This expansion aims to underscore the significance of visual and performing arts as powerful drivers of enrichment and societal development.

In line with our commitment, we are proud to introduce The Miramare Art Collection, housed in the newly renovated property in Vedbaek, north of Copenhagen. Miramare will serve as the focal point for upcoming cultural activities, particularly The Art Residency of Pietrasanta. This initiative arises from our recognition of the growing interest in sculpture as a medium of artistic expression.
